"We destroyed the lower unit on my Mercury 225 Optimax last Wednesday out near SW Pass. There were still two days left on our trip before we were planning on heading back to Oklahoma. I anticipated that we were out of luck and needing to start packing to go.
After one call to George, he told us that he could get to us the next morning and have us out in 25 minutes. That may have been a little bit optimistic. I bet we were there at least 30 minutes.
Metro Boating has a very clean professional environment and I have never had such great service.
I have given your name to everyone I know that visits La. from Oklahoma and left a pile of your cards at Yellow Cotton Bay Resort in Venice.

"I bought my new MERCURY 90 OPTIMAX outboard at Metro last year and was extremely satisfied with sales/service then and sent in my comments at that time. Today 10/13/08 which is about a year later I found myself in a bind trying to fulfill a promised fishing trip for a visiting out of town friend.I had a concern about a possible trip killer due to a minor problem.I was telling someone in service about my concern and my situation,George (the owner) of Metro overhearing my conversation stepped in and personally assured me that he would attend to my concern so that i can fulfill my promise to my friend.I will also mention that he was dressed in shop attire and looked like he had been working in the shop.This is why I wanted to purchase locally at Metro rather than shopping out of town.No product is worth it's salt if the service is not there to back it up.Once again I wish to say,"WOW,THAT'S GREAT SERVICE""

"Bought my Frontier 210 a year ago. The boat was pre-rigged with a Yamaha F150, but I wanted to replace it with a 200 which they gladly handled without any extra cost. I have been back a couple of times for maintenance and add ons and every time the folks at Metro have been very helpful.
The 210 is just about the perfect rig for me, fast, smooth and shallow. I have not seen a 22ft boat with as much room as the 210. "

"I have Blackjack 224 and love it. Just the other day I was coming back across a lake with all of the other guides from the area and it was rough. When I say rough it very well could have been as bad as I have ever seen this particular lake. When we got back to the dock everyone was very wet except the four people with me. We got sprayed a little but not like the other people that were in 24 foot Kenners, Pathfinders, and Skeeters. Not only does it ride smooth and dry but it also floats in about a foot of water. This very well could be the best bay boat ever made. I know what my next boat will be."

" I had bought a 2008 21' Frontier with a 200 Mercury 0ptimax
that I Love.It's the best performing boat that i have ever own.
It take on rough water very well and rides so smooth.With the 200 Mercury Optimax it the fastes thing on water and get you up and on the way at no time at all. Lots of fishing space.With three fishmen onboard you don't get in the way with each other.Trust me you buy one and you will love it to. DON
